The living are expendable in pursuit of that most noble goal. Corpses and the undead are sacred, and they must be protected at all cost. That is why it is of the utmost importance that we protect our people who live on in undeath, and ensure that their living counterparts are delivered swiftly and safely to that same state. But we have Faith that, in time, we will uncover the secrets to restoring the sanity of even our most damaged brethren who yet persist in holy Undeath. In truth, any of our fallen fellows can be commanded to rise again but with severely impaired mental capacities. While many of our own rituals are crude by comparison, with care we can keep intact the minds of our greatest scholars through the same necromantic magics. The wisest of the Ancients knew this, which is why they took steps to preserve themselves and their kin. Kingdom of the Dead - No one need ever truly die. (Goal achieved when all Kings of Elemental Earth and Kings of Elemental Fire are summoned and all Heliophagus are bound and all four “Will of the Outer” AND “Subjugation of the Inner” objectives have been fulfilled)Ĥ. True divinity can only be obtained by harnessing the Powers of the Inner and Outer realms. This knowledge will guide us in our conquest of the Surface and uplift our people and protect the legacy of the Ancient Pale Ones. Dark powers from the infernal realms will be bound through ritual and sacrifice, and we shall force the wisdom of untold ages from their tongues. All kings of the Earth and of Fire shall be summoned to our court and we shall bask in their glory. True wisdom and power is found in communion with the elements, yes, but it also lies in the deepest secrets of the Abyss. Dominion Over Inner and Outer - The Ancients were right but did not see far enough. (Goal achieved when 1 Tomb Oracle/Risen Oracle is awoken (Do not roll on the “Will of the Awoken Table” - #6 is automatically selected) and 40 Dark Gods are released and returned to sanity* and all four “Will of the Released” objectives have been fulfilled)ģ. True divinity can only be obtained through the Power and Secrets of the Dark Gods. We will awaken the necromancers of the Ancients and under their guidance we will free the Dark Gods. But when the Seal was broken, the Old Ones were too short-sighted to gain control of the powers that were released. These ancient Masters knew that the path to Power lies with the Dark Gods, the Imprisoned Ones. Only the venerable Oracles of the Dead had any Vision, which is why their magic and the sleeping corpses of their chosen kin are all that remains of Old Agartha. Release the Dark Gods - The ancient Pale Ones were weak. (Goal achieved when 20 Ancient Lords are returned to life and sanity* and all four “Will of the Returned” objectives have been fulfilled)Ģ. True divinity can only be attained through returning the noble ones to life and allowing them to lead the World into a new Dawn. The dead are only sacred insofar as they protect the resurrection of our people. Defend the journey to the rebirth of the pale ones with the bodies of the dead, humans and pale ones alike. Resurrect the Ancients - By the power of the stars, our people shall return. ***Destiny Of Our People: (Choose one destiny per game)ġ. ***Whispers of the Ancients (LA Agartha)*** Here also is a link to some lore/fan fiction that I wrote years ago that goes along with destiny #1 "Resurrect the Ancients": This represents the beings summoned in the "destinies" having a mind of their own and their own opinions about how to lead the nation. Pick your destiny and then use a six-sided dice to roll for the other tables. Enable "Necromancer Pretender" if you want a necromancer pretender for LA Agartha Enable "The Black Parade" mod if you will be summoning any Tartarians(Dark Gods). Roll for the secret on the table below before starting a game, and then enable the mod for that secret. This guide is intended to be used with the "Whispers of Agartha" mod package. Although, if you were to use this guide for a multiplayer game, it would certainly be interesting! Many/most/all of the tasks outlined in this guide are impractical in a competitive game. This Roleplaying Guide is intended to be used for singleplayer games that are on an easier difficulty setting. More specifically, the "Dominion Over Inner and Outer" destiny is well suited for play with other nations. For now, this guide is mainly designed for LA Agartha: Ktonian Dead, but many of the goals and objectives can be applied to other nations. This is a Roleplaying Guide - it outlines a set of rules to guide the player in making decisions in Dominions 5 in a lore-friendly way.
